Hello, I’m Elizabeth.

I offer therapy for individuals, couples, and relationships from my practices in Liverpool Street, East Dulwich, and online.

I work with adults of all ages from all walks of life, providing therapy that is inclusive, gender- and culturally sensitive, and grounded in real-world understanding.

Why I do this work

I came to therapy through a deep interest in what it means to be human — how we make sense of our lives, find meaning, and stay connected to ourselves and others when things feel uncertain or overwhelming.

Before training as a therapist, I worked for many years in high-pressure environments where burnout, identity struggles, and relationship strain were common. What I saw again and again was that people suffer most not only from their circumstances, but from feeling unseen or alone in them.

Why people come to me

People come to therapy for many reasons — feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or sensing that something isn’t quite right.
Some know exactly what’s troubling them; others can’t quite put it into words, only that life has lost its ease or direction.

Whatever your difficulty, therapy offers a space apart from daily life — a place to slow down, talk, and begin to make sense of what’s happening.
Together, we’ll explore what’s behind your distress, understand your thoughts and emotions more clearly, and find practical, meaningful ways forward.

Therapy with me is, at its best, is the opposite of that: a dedicated place where your experience can be understood and met with genuine curiosity and compassion. A place where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with honesty and support, and begin to live with greater self-awareness and choice.

about 1

What it’s like to work with me

Clients often describe me as warm, calm, and easy to talk to and sessions as collaborative and deeply human.

My approach is warm but grounded — I balance insight and reflection with practical tools for coping. You can expect to feel listened to without judgment, and to have space to explore both what’s happening on the surface and what lies beneath it.

Therapy with me is about working together to understand what’s happening, so you can make meaningful changes and feel more at ease in yourself and your relationships. Over time, therapy often helps people feel less driven by anxiety or self-criticism, and more able to live with awareness, confidence, and choice.

Relational therapy

exploring how your patterns of connection and communication shape how you feel and relate to others.

Existential therapy

looking at meaning, values, identity, and the challenges of being human.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

practical ways to reduce anxiety and develop self-awareness around thoughts and behaviours.

How I work

My style is thoughtful, collaborative, and practical.

I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach — instead, I adapt therapy to your needs, drawing on methods that are both evidence-based and deeply human in outlook.

I work integratively, drawing from several evidence-based and philosophical perspectives.  This means we can tailor therapy to your unique situation — whether you need immediate relief from stress and anxiety, or deeper exploration of what’s shaping your life.

I’ll help you notice patterns that keep you stuck, develop insight into how you relate to yourself and others, and find steadier, more compassionate ways of living.
Clients often tell me therapy with me feels calm, grounded, and real — a place where change feels possible.
